One major advantage to SSC is it lets you operate in EQ (equatorial) mode which means you have far fewer rejects. In al/az mode I usually would have 30-40% rejects. Recently it's been about 1%. A recent all-night run captured 2259 subs and rejected just 25!

SSC also features a bubble level instead of green balls for leveling. A recent update (2.4.0) added a way to refine polar alignment down to a gnat's ass and now includes a useful planning function.
